Matthew Whiteside (see also last month’s SLN) has won the One to Watch category at the Sunday Herald Culture Awards 2017, in a ceremony held at Glasgow’s SWG3 venue. The award shortlist included the singer-songwriter Tamzene, the choreographer Sophie Laplane and the rapper Scope (Lewis Jake Beer).
